Detailed overview
Puttaparthi was the home place of the world-renowned spiritualist, Sathya Sai Baba. The town still retains many of the emblems, insignias, stickers, posters and other memorabilia. Sathya Sai Baba died in 2011. Anyone visiting the town will be able to find out the full story on this figure of history. In short, it is believed that he was born as a re-incarnation of an India Sai Baba of Shirdi a saint and miracle worker who died in 1918.
